FIVE KEY PRODUCTION PROCESSES

01

1. Door Handle Production Process

[Critical Control 1]: Piece-by-piece inspection after polishing.

[Critical Control 2]: Inspection under standard light.

1. Melting and casting: High-quality ZAMAK/aluminum alloy.

2. Mechanical processing: Automatic thread tapping.

3. Fine polishing: Machine grinding combined with manual.

4. Multi-layer coating: Reinforced electroplating for protection.

5.Assembly and test: Manual installation of springs and return test.

6. Branded packaging: Client's individual boxes.

02

2. Lock Body Production Process

[Control]: 100% check of the deadbolt's smooth operation.

1. Stamping: High-precision stamping from cold-rolled steel St3.

2.Component test: Checking springs and deadbolts for fatigue.

3. Manual assembly: High-precision manual fitting of mechanisms.

4. Packaging: Branded packaging for protection during logistics.

03

3. Cylinder Production Process

[Test]: Simulation of use with the original key.

1. Precision milling: High accuracy of copper drilling.

2.Manual lubrication: Lubrication for low temperatures down to -40°C.

3. Manual assembly: High-precision manual pin placement.

4. Packaging: Individual branded box.

04

4. Armor Plate Production Process

[Control]: Checking the electroplated layer for scratches.

1. Forging/Casting: Forming a thickened protective layer.

2. Coating: High-quality electroplating instead of PVD.

3. Assembly: Manual installation of all fasteners.

4. Packaging: Individual branded packaging.

05

5. New Product Development Process

FAI: Destructive testing of the first product.

1. Profile analysis: Checking Backset and mounting locations.

2. Drawing approval: Fixing all technical parameters.

3. 3D prototype: Making a sample for fitting on the door.

4. Mold development: Manufacture of precision tooling.

5. Mass production: Launch of the series and packaging.

Technical Regulations and OEM/ODM FAQ

In this section, we answer 20 engineering questions so you can be confident in every stage of BBDHOME production.

CATEGORY: PROCESSES AND QUALITY

[Q1] How is electroplating quality controlled?

[A1] We conduct a 72-hour ISO 9227 test and visually inspect each part manually for micro-pores before assembly.

[Q2] Why is manual assembly of locks better?

[A2] An experienced master feels the spring tension, which eliminates the risk of mechanism jamming in the future.

[Q3] Do you use secondary zinc?

[A3] No, BBDHOME uses only primary ZAMAK alloys to ensure the strength and durability of the coating.

[Q4] How is spring reliability tested?

[A4] Each batch of springs passes a metal fatigue test: more than 200,000 actuation cycles.

[Q5] What does the FAI process include?

[A5] This is a complete measurement of the first product from a new mold and destructive tests to check strength.

CATEGORY: DEVELOPMENT AND MOLDS

[Q6] What is the timeline for new mold development?

[A6] Usually 35-45 days: from drawing and 3D model approval to obtaining the first castings for tests.

[Q7] What is the lifespan of your molds?

[A7] Our steel molds are designed for 300,000-500,000 high-pressure casting cycles.

[Q8] Can design changes be made at the 3D stage?

[A8] Yes, this is the most effective way to reduce TCO before expensive metal work begins.

[Q9] Is it compatible with Euro Profile?

[A9] Yes, our locks are designed to the DIN standard, which allows the use of any Euro-standard cylinders.

[Q10] How is silent operation ensured?

[A10] We use a PVC Silent Latch and precision fitting of the internal parts of the lock body.
